Après de nombreuses rumeurs relatives à une date de lancement, c’est désormais officiel ! La compatibilité avec la Xbox One de jeux issus de la première Xbox est une réalité, et les premiers titres compatibles arrivent dès demain ! Au nombre de 13, ces titres sont les suivants :

Even though it's early code, the Xbox One X build we played runs almost flawlessly for regular missions at a straight 30fps, regardless of rendering mode. However, there is one exceptional area in the Gamecom build that causes issues. The Ghasghor siege is a large-scale battle that buckles Xbox One X's performance to around the low-20s. It's a mission with a surplus of enemies and effects, and the bottleneck applies whether you're on quality or resolution mode.
As a stress-test it's fascinating to see the standard Xbox One's adaptive v-sync used here, causing occasional screen-tear. Also curious is that the quality mode appears to push Xbox One X harder, compared to the resolution mode - creating a divide of 2-3 frames per second in matching scenes. Interestingly, engaging dynamic resolution makes no difference here, and it may be the case that the sheer number of entities is causing the console to be CPU-bound. Higher detail means more draw calls, adding to the load, perhaps explaining the performance deficit here. Again, it's worth stressing this is still early code from months past, and things could change come release. For the rest of the package, Shadow of War hands in a solid 30fps, and the siege areas will be worth revisiting in the final code, with Pro factored into the mix too.
As thing stand, Shadow of War gives us a prime, early example of why Microsoft targeted Xbox One X's specific specs. The sense is that a higher pixel count alone isn't enough; more importantly, this console has the extra memory resources to give those pixels more to show off - better textures, and improved LODs, for example. Additional visual options such as the ability to toggle dynamic resolution scaling are also welcome. Those who want their true 4K can have it, while those looking for more consistent performance are also catered for.
It's the radically improved art that most obviously sets Xbox One X apart from PS4 Pro, but Monolith's approach to 4K textures likely won't apply to every game. At the start of the generation, 8GB of GDDR5 seemed almost overkill - a mammoth 16x increase over last-gen. That's still a hefty chunk of memory to work with and as such, the difference in other titles may not be so pronounced. However, based on the evidence presented by Shadow of War and Rise of the Tomb Raider in particular, it's possible that Xbox One X's 12GB provision is a good case of forward-thinking on Microsoft's part. We'll report back on final code just as soon as we can.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection ou Halo : La collection le Major est un jeu de la série Halo regroupant une version haute définition (1080p à 60 images par seconde) des opus Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3 et Halo 4, ainsi qu'un accès à la bêta d’Halo 5 : Guardians. Cette collection regroupe l'ensemble des jeux dans lesquels apparaît le Major John-117. Il est sorti en novembre 2014 sur Xbox One.
Le jeu propose en plus de l'intégralité des campagnes solo toutes les cartes des quatre modes multijoueur, adaptées au gameplay de chaque opus, soit 99 cartes. La campagne de Halo 3: ODST a été jouté à la collection. La version 4K/60fps arrivera en 2018 sur Xbox One X.
Hideo Kojima s'est rendu au Brasil Games Show cette année pour parler de son futur projet . A cette occasion il a croisé Phil Spencer le patron de la branche gaming de Microsoft . J'espère qu'ils travailleront sur un projet dans le future .
Il ne fait aucun doute que Phil Spencer a su reprendre les rennes de la marque Xbox après le départ de Don Mattrick en 2013. Son objectif était de redorer le blason Xbox après une période pré-lancement assez mouvementée, et il a su au fil des mois regagner le cœur des joueurs. Aujourd’hui, Microsoft annonce que Phil Spencer rejoint la Senior Leadership Team.
L’équipe Senior Leadership Team de Microsoft compte 16 membres (voir ci-dessous), incluant son PDG Satya Nadella. Il s’agit ici de l’équipe rapprochée de Satya Nadella chargée de décider des grandes orientations de Microsoft.
Phil Spencer conserve bien sûr son poste de vice president de la partie Gaming chez Microsoft qui lui demande de diriger toute la stratégie jeu vidéo de Microsoft à travers tous les supports et services.
Ses 15 ans dans l’industrie lui auront donc profité. Son profil chez Microsoft nous rappelle qu’il a été celui qui a lancé la Xbox One S ainsi que la Xbox One X, qui a acheté la franchise Minecraft, influencé les grosses franchises de la maison que sont Halo, Gears of War et Forza Motorsport et enfin qu’il a dirigé la croissance du Xbox Live qui compte 50 millions de membres actifs.
Cette nouvelle posture montre finalement bien à quel point la division Gaming est importante aux yeux de Microsoft et clouera le bec (pour combien de temps ?) à tous ceux qui crient à la mort de la Xbox à chaque génération. Cette nouvelle position est en tout cas une bonne nouvelle pour les joueurs puisqu’elle ne peut que favoriser la marque Xbox.
The Youtuber said that Ubisoft employees confirmed, at Fan Expo Canada, the studio is working on a full HD and 60fps mode for Origins on Xbox One X, and if that’s true, it’s a huge achievement for the Xbox platform considering that Origins has the largest open-world in the franchise yet. Right now, nor Ubisoft or Microsoft have officially verified to be an option accessible in the game, we have to wait for a blog post to see if it’s a reality.
Tabata-san explained that the game will support native 4K on PC, while on Xbox One X it will run natively at 3K resolution (3072 x 1728 pixels, or 1800p) and will then upscale to 4K via checkerboard technology, which is the same solution adopted on “high” visual settings on PS4 Pro.
The Windows Edition will also support the Nvidia Gameworks tech, including physics simulation, that has been embedded into the Luminous Engine. It will also include support for Windows Sonic, which is a proprietary spatial sound tech for Windows 10. This also inherently includes support for Dolby Atmos hardware.

In the meanwhile, Square Enix is continuing to update Final Fantasy XV for both PS4 and Xbox One, and they recently released patch 1.15, and the Assassin’s Festival crossover event ib collaboration with the Assassin’s Creed franchise.
