Final Fantasy XV fans have finally got what they’ve been waiting for, as Square Enix shared the latest trailer for Final Fantasy XV on the first day of Jump Festa 2015 in Japan. Game Jouhou shares what went on during the presentation with a beefy summary of the event. Below is our translation.



The giant monster shown at the end of the trailer is indeed Titan.


Summoned Beasts can be acquired after fighting them, and there are various other conditions for acquiring them as well.


Titan will play a big role in the story, but the demo won’t include him in. It will instead add another Summoned Beast that is not a big part of the story. You’ll get to summon this Beast, and it is said that it will be a dynamic one that will surprise players.


The giant size of Titan seen in the trailer is how he’ll look when you summon him yourself.


The town in the trailer is shown in a seamless fashion; however, at the current stage, Square Enix can’t say for sure whether the entire game will be seamless. Again, they say that they’re doing their best to make it all seamless, but important scenes will likely require some loading. The demo, however, will be completely seamless.


The town shown is called “Lestarg” and it plays an important role in the story surrounding Titan. It is not a huge town, and won’t be in the demo. There’s a hotel where you’ll get to rest, eat, and shop, along with all kinds of other events.


General Cor Leonis will join you and fight in the party. there are some party members that will join as temporary guests, and Cor is one of them. He’s not a friend of Noctis and the others, but an aide to his father. He’ll be there to look out for Noctis and Co.


If you go a while without sleeping, the stat boosts you get from foods and such will lose their effect.


The sleep element has been added to further emphasize that these characters are living people, so they’ll need to get rest just like any normal human. You can eat meals at camp for extra status effects.


You’ll need to take a breather in order to level up. So basically, if you don’t rest at a camping area, you won’t level up. This will make it possible for people to challenge themselves at beating the game at a low level.


You can go three days without sleeping, but any longer than that and you’ll begin to see negative effects.


One day in Final Fantasy XV is the equivalent of a real-life hour, so a day lasts for about 40 to 45 minutes, and the rest is night. This bit is currently in development, so it’s subject to change.


There will be moments where you’ll need to go on fighting for days at a time.


There are also trains to travel inside, and these will have their own spaces within them. You’ll travel by train at times, and can freely walk around inside when you do.


Cindy (or Cidney in Japanese) doesn’t have much to do with the story, but she’s a mechanic who’ll talk to you about gameplay. While we still don’t know exactly what kind of mechanic she is, she’ll appear in the demo. Square Enix’s male staff members have been putting a lot of effort into creating her.


At the moment, Square Enix are working on adding more action varieties, and they feel that magic isn’t looking too impressive, so they’re not showing it. They need to work on it, but they’ll do that after they’re done with the Summoned Beasts.


At first, they decided on only having Noctis use magic, but they felt that it wouldn’t be as fun gameplay wise, so they’re changing it up a bit so that everyone in the party can use magic.


Square are adding various languages for the demo version that will release around the world, but due to the heavy amount of content and problems in schedule, Square Enix can’t say for sure whether they’ll all be included in the initial release.


Insomnia is the capital of the Kingdom of Lucis, where Noctis is the prince of. This is where a ceremonial signing will take place.


Square Enix prepared all kinds of scenes for the latest trailer, but since they didn’t use them all, map director Yasuyuki Matsunami got pretty upset. Tabata justified his reason by saying that trailers can be made in two ways: to advertise or show the state of development. They showed Behemoth and weathers in the previous trailers, and Tabata says this was put together in a rush. As for Jump Festa 2015, the focus was advertising, which was done by the editing studio, and not in cooperation with the development staff. For this reason, they weren’t able to include all the scenes that were requested by staff.


Some of the omitted scenes were shown separately at the event, including one that highlighted Cindy, and another with town exploration.


There was a much older version of the town, but the latest version had a lot more going on that was shown in the trailer when you see Noctis and friends cruising in there. The full-release version will look nicer, and will have more people walking around. If you go near them, you’ll also get to hear them speaking.


You can purchase ingredients to cook at camp. By eating those foods, you’ll gain positive effects. By properly sleeping, you’ll maintain its effects.


The part that shows the dog peeing [in the footage with town exploration], in the back, they show a part that will play a big role in the game’s story.


Tabata jokingly said that he’ll introduce more on the dog if the demand is high enough.

Epic doivent se faire du blé FOU avec tout les jeux qu'utilisaient l'Unreal Engine à la gen précédente et aussi pour cette gen. Rien que niveau jeux de fight Mortal Kombat X, Guilty Gear Xrd (UE3) et Tekken 7 et Street Fighter V(UE4)

D'ailleurs j'avais entendu dire y'as un bon bout de temps qu'M$ voulait racheté Epic, en leurs proposant carrément 2 milliards de dollar$, mais Epic se faisant tellement de fric avec l'UE qu'ils avaient trouvé cette offre infiniment ridicule vu le blé qu'ils se faisaient avec leurs moteur. (à confirmer cependant je n'avais pas vérifier tout ça, après ça ne me surprendrais pas non plus.)

Histoire d'essayer de se faire une petite idée du futur roster de Street Fighter V avec ses 16 persos!!

Eurogamer donne leurs avis sur une vidéo de leurs chanel sur l'un des nouveaux personnage à venir dans Tekken 7, Aka Lucky Chloe, le personnage qui avait fait polémique sur les forums US, notamment Neogaf. Et la compare aussi à l'occasion à d'autres personnages de la série.

Ça y'est je l'est enfin commencer ce jeu, je ne fait d'habitude pas trop de topic pour un ressenti d'un jeu, en particulier juste aprés 2 heures de jeu, mais la c'est un peu à part!! et que dire dés le début on y est directement plongé dans le jeu et son ambiance, bien qu'on comprends pas trop quoi à ce qui se passe dans le jeu.

Psycho Break (ou The Evil Within) possède une ambiance très maîtrisé, qui fait pensé à RE rebirth (certains passages), Saw ou encore et surtout Silent Hill, et au dessus de tout ça, ça ne l’empêche pas de posséder tout de même sa propre identité à ce niveau. On y est amener par instinct à farfouillé tout les recoin de décors "rempli de surpri... heu pièges", surtout que les items se font assez rare (pour le moment en tout cas), ce qui évidemment renfonce encore plus le coté survie du jeu.

Le gameplay est un bon mix de ce qui se fait de mieux aujourd'hui, comme The Last Of Us pour la maniabilité ou encore Dark Souls pour le systeme de Stamina. En ce qui concerne les graphismes du jeu ce n'est clairement pas un claque, mais ça reste assez correcte dans l'ensemble, et l'excellente DA du jeu y est principalement pour beaucoup je pense, le jeu possède aussi des bandes noire, même si parfois je n'y fait pas très attention, mais deviennent tout de même assez gênant quand on les remarque, mais après ça n'affecte pas vraiment l'excellente qualité et le plaisir du jeu, qui d'ailleurs est facilement un des meilleur jeu du genre depuis un très bon moment, Shinji Mikami et sa team prouvent en tout cas qu'il font clairement parti de l'étalon du genre, et ce malgré que leurs dernier jeu du genre date depuis un bon moment. (RE remake il me semble).

Même si je n'y est joué que 2 heures il reste encore des trucs à redire de ce jeu, preuve encore qu'il sort de l'ordinaire, à voir la suite mais pour le moment il s'annonce juste exceptionnel à ce rythme. Pour résumé en tout cas, pour le moment je sens qu'il a tout le potentiel de finir parmi mes jeux favoris de 2014.

... Dire que cette bombe ne sort que dans 3 MOIS!!!

Ambiance de dingue, Solo long, gamplay Riche et frais, difficulté très bien dosé, univers glauque, aussi durée de vie quasi illimités avec le système de donjons qui se régénèrent automatiquement de quoi décuplé le plaisir et la durée de vie du jeu"qui déjà était au top de base".

Autre nouvelle!! Ono sur scène annonce ce qui est d’après lui "un des avantages" du partenariat de Capcom avec Sony pour Street Fighter V. Cette année (donc hier), la prime fut de 30.000 dollars pour le vainqueur de la Capcom Cup, pour l'année prochaine, cette somme se verra upgrader à 500.000$, non vous ne rêvez 1 demi de putain million de dollars, la vache hein, ça fait quand même une sacrée somme, bon maintenant oust tous au training... Et bonne chance à tous pour le 1/2 million de dollars

Live Gameplay Chun Li VS Ryu

Pas le temps pour faire une traduction, globalement Microsoft est en train de prendre en considération une sortie PC pour Killer Instinct

One of the main gripes players have with the third installment in the Killer Instinct series is that the next-gen title is exclusive to Microsoft's Xbox One. Dropping $400+ for a console, a new fightstick, and the game itself is a bit of a tall order, and since the game's release last year, players everywhere have stated that they'd be willing to pick up KI if it were available on other platforms.

It looks like the idea of Killer Instinct branching out of its Xbox One exclusivity may be an actual possibility now. A thread recently went up over on the Ultra-Combo Forum that prompted users to comment on whether or not they'd like to see KI make its way to PC.

Since then, Microsoft Studios' creative director Adam Isgreen has jumped into the thread and confirmed that the MS team has their eye on the community comments regarding a potential PC port.

The Killer Instinct community will surely grow in numbers if a PC port is introduced, especially if Microsoft implements cross play functionality. Needless to say, I'm all for it!

Perso c'était déjà le cas de base, mais la en me refaisant toute la série (enfin les opus principaux évidemment), franchement y'as pas à dire, RE rebirth est mon RE favori, et dire qu'à la base c'était RE2 mon favori, mais le remake du premier opus est JUSTE CULTISSIME, jeu qui n'a toujours pas prit une ride, surtout avec la récente version HD, et je le considère aussi en passant comme facilement le meilleur remake de tout les temps.

Je pourrais en rajouté encore une tonnes, mais j'éviterais histoire de pas faire ramer la page.
