CUBE: Are you pleased how well Viewtiful Joe has done so far ?
Atsushi Inaba : The game didn't sell as well as I hoped in Japan. Compared to what other GameCube games sell I guess it has done okay, but I think that it deserved to sell more. I think the game will do very well in the US and Europe thoguh as the character design and the gameplay is much more suited to the West.
CUBE : Can you shed any light on the rumours that Dead Phoenix might be turned into a Kid Icarus Nintendo collaboration ?
Atsushi Inaba : Haha, I hadn't heard that rumour! That's definitely not happening!
CUBE : Can you tell us what you're working on next ?
Atsushi Inaba : All I can say is that it's something very cool, with super gameplay, super graphics and super sound. You won't be disappointed.
CUBE : Can we expect a sequel to Viewtiful Joe ?
Atsushi Inaba : I would love to do a sequel. There are already many ideas in my mind, but we'll have to wait and see.
