D'après la dernière édition du magazine Game Informer, Konami et Silicon Knights prévoient de sortir un portage de Metal Gear Solid 2 avec l'arrivée de Metal Gear Solid : The Twin Snakes sur GameCube prévue pour le mois de Novembre prochain aux USA. A confirmer.

Game Informer : 'It seems the Gamecube fans will have alot of Snake to play this year. Konami and Silicon Knights will be re-releasing a port of Metal Gear Solid 2 along with Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes this November.'
