Lors d’une récente conférence, un dirigeant d’Activision s’est exprimé au sujet du kit de développement de la PS3. Il n’a pas pu révéler la date à laquelle la compagnie a reçu le kit, mais il a néanmoins pu affirmé : « Hardware is spectacular, exceeded expectations ».

Si Masaru Ibuka et Akio Morita ne s'étaient pas rencontrer pendant la deuxième guerre mondiale, aurions-nous eu le Walkman ou la PlayStation ? Probablement pas. Ibuka et Morita ont établi Tokyo Tsushin Kogyo (Totsuko), qui a par la suite fondé la célèbre compagnie Sony.

Vonage, un provider VoIP plancherait sur une interface qui permettrait aux consoles PSP & DS de devenir un téléphone VoIP. L'utilisation se ferait via le microphone et la connection WiFi, avec bien sur une interface logicielle adaptée à ces nouvelles fonctions.

L'opérateur WiFi, Cloud, serait actuellement en relation, avec Vonage afin de lui donner accès à plus de 7000 hotspots Wi-Fi.

Ces fonctions Voip devraient se faire sous forme de mise à jour firmware (PSP), et d'une cartouche (DS)...Wait and see...
