Socals from Globware has released a port of his windows SecureText encryption/decryption program to the PSP. This program utilizes RC4 encryption and allows the message to be transferred in plain email, not as an attachment. This version will only encrypt files up to 6 megs and view files up to 8 megs in size.

Usage notes =
Select - Change Filer and Viewer background images. Select Default to use the built in/default image. Only select a 24 bit color bitmap image to use as your background. If you are selecting default, then you can press select on any file or folder you want to bring up the selection. If you select a non-bitmap file, it will try to draw it to the screen! (Use included template .bmp for sample - download screenshots of SecureText from GlobWare.com to see where text is drawn to create skins easier.)

Exiting from SecureText will save your background settings in securetext.cfg.

First, press R1 to bring up your password/virtual keyboard. Type in your password and press R1 to close the window. While this password is in memory you can secure/desecure as many files as you'd like.

Press X to secure a file, which currently takes the file, adds .sec to the filename automatically. New versions will allow you to change the name.

Press O to desecure a file or open a directory. When desecuring a file you will have the choice to copy it only to memory or to a file also.

Press Triangle to move up a directory.

Press L1 to delete a file. A conformation window will appear. If you see red letters LOCKED in the right hand corner then you will NOT be able to delete the file. It means it is read only.

Jusqu'à maintenant, l'unique ligne de défense de Rockstar consistait à rejetter la faute sur le modmaker, affirmant que celui-ci avait ajouté les animations et modèles nécéssaires, là où le jeu original ne contenait pas un poil de cul. Une explication qui prend un peu l'eau aujourd'hui : on apprend que le mode est également débloquable sur la version PS2, à l'aide d'un simple Action Replay.

Voici un produit très sympa pour tous ceux et celles qui passent leur temps dans la salle de bain ou la douche. Le AQA026 de SUNTAX n'est rien d'autre qu'un boîtier Waterproof dans lequel vous pouvez brancher une clef mémoire USB, l'AQA utilisera donc la clef USB comme support mémoire et pourra donc lire vos MP3. Ce boîtier est donc bien sûr étanche et fonctionne sur piles. Voilà un produit vraiment sympa. Oui, il est aussi possible de faire du Tunning sur ce lecteur...

Yu-Ju Lin from Charleston Southern University has just emailed us a very nice PSP Reader program. This program supports reading .txt, .html (without formatting) and .c files. Furthermore it also supports Chinese along with English (with smooth fonts).

You can search, bookmark and jump to places in these files. A very cool implementation is the virtual keyboard to edit parts of a file.

Once you select a file, press select and it will bring up the menu. After you’re in the menu press X and the keyboard will come up allowing you to edit however you like.
