Twin Peaks fans’ quarter-century wait is over. One of the top cult series of all time is coming back with a new limited series on Showtime from its original creators, David Lynch and Mark Frost. The nine-episode series will go into production in 2015 for a premiere in 2016 to mark the 25th anniversary of when the series finished its run on ABC. In a fact that will delight Twin Peaks devotees, Lynch and Frost will write and produce all nine episodes, with Lynch set to direct every episode.

The new Twin Peaks will be set in the present day, more than two decades after the events in the first two seasons. It will continue the lore and story of the original series, with Lynch and Frost committed to providing long-awaited answers and, hopefully, a satisfying conclusion to the series.

It is unclear which actors from the original series will be featured in the followup. Rumor is that star Kyle MacLachlan would be back, likely reprising his role as FBI Agent Dale Cooper who was at the center of the show. The ABC series also featured some of Lynch’s favorite character actors, and it is likely that at least some of them will return.

C'est une question qui m'interpelle et j’aimerais la partager avec vous.

Il faut être honnête, le fait que le online soit gratuit a un impact important sur les acheteurs du support de Sony.

Microsoft étant le seul à avoir un Live payant face à Nintendo et à Sony sur un système qu'il a pourtant démocratisé, ce qui est surement le plus grand défaut qu'ils pourraient avoir pour la suite, alors, auront-il finalement une utilité à le rendre gratuit sur la prochaine génération ?

Je pense que c'est déjà une gêne importante pour eux afin de mettre en place un MMO console (Je suis certains que le MMoConsole est pour la Next Gen, c‘est même un objectif pour eux à mon avis), surtout quand ils regardent Blizzard sur une montagne de pognon grâce à WoW et son nombre affolant de joueurs (et donc d’acheteurs potentiel).

Ensuite, il y a une prise de risque au niveau des futurs acheteurs de console qui peuvent se dire "ouais, mais nous l'avons bien vu sur la dernière génération, le live Sony était gratos pour les mêmes jeux donc bon.."

Je pense que nous pouvons prévoir que la prochaine génération ira encore plus loin pour le online, Nintendo aura surement un service beaucoup plus stable et plaisant à jouer et surement encore gratuit par exemple.

Je réitère donc ma question :

Est-ce le moment pour Microsoft après deux générations de Live payant de le rendre gratuit?
