Gamekyo : Blog : Crash Bandicoot : le grand retour?

L'ancienne mascotte de la Playstation première du nom pourrait bien faire bientôt son grand Come Back grâce au studio Vicarious Games!

GC: Oh, and is there anything you can say about Crash Bandicoot?

GB: [laughs] You’re talking about that photo with the poster on the wall?

GC: Yeah, I think there was some speculation you might be working on a reboot for Crash?

GB: Well, there’s nothing for me to say about Crash Bandicoot. [laughs] I mean I love the games, we’ve made some of the party games…

GC: Is there any reason why he couldn’t appear in a Skylanders game?

GB: Well, Crash Bandicoot is a very different personality to Spyro…

GC: But if I was Activision and I wanted to bring back Crash Bandicoot I would’ve thought a cameo in Skylanders would be a pretty good start.

GB: I think the best way to think about that is the same question you asked about Transformers and Spider-Man. Because the way I think about it personally is that Crash Bandicoot is a great IP, that’s had great game experiences in the past, but it’s very different than what Skylanders is today. That’s the way I think about it.

GC: Thank you, that’s great.

GB: Okay cool, thank you.

Comme Wanda357, j'attends rien d'un crash bandicoot.
Au pire, je ne serai pas déçu, au mieu, ce sera une grosse surprise.

Si c est pour etre sous-traité par un des studios du quart-monde d activision c est franchement pas la peine.

J'ai pas l'impression que l'interview laisse supposer un éventuel retour de la série. Ça pourrait être cool pourtant de voir un épisode reprenant la base de ceux de Naughty Dog.

Franchement de toutes les licenses Sony "playstation" je crois que Crash est celle qui a le moins à apporter. D'ailleurs je ne crois pas qu'elle ait apporter quelque chose. Niveau plateforme 3D ça ne volait pas bien haut. J'ai jamais vraiment compris l'engouement. Crash fait partie de ces licenses "début d'ère 3D" qui n'ont pas buzzer pour les bonnes raisons.

Franchement quit à ressusciter quelqu'un autant que se soit Jak & Dexter.
