C'est tout simple,C'est un kit créé par trois branches internes de SONY qui ont eu pour tâches principale de créé un outil de développement tirant parti des spécificités du CELL et du RSX.

killzone2.

Mark Cerny
Mark Cerny has been working in game design and technology for 25 years. He designed and programmed 1984's Marble Madness for Atari coin-op, and at Sega he oversaw the creation of Sonic the Hedgehog 2. While president of Universal Studios' game division, he worked in a variety of production and design roles on the Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon series on the original Playstation. In 1998, Mark established Cerny Games as a consultancy, and has since participated in the creation of the Jak and Daxter and Ratchet and Clank series on PlayStation 2 and the PlayStation 3 launch title Resistance: Fall Of Man. He has also been instrumental in the creation and guidance of the ICE team, a technology group based at Naughty Dog that specializes in graphics systems and tools for the PlayStation 3. In 2004 the IGDA honored Mark with its Lifetime Achievement Award, calling him a master collaborator and a jack of all trades.
Jon Olick
Jon has been working on games and games technology professionally for the past 8 years, helping to create multi-million selling games such as Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. Currently, Jon is a Senior Programmer on the ICE team, a Sony Computer Entertainment first party technology group based at Naughty Dog, where he plays a key role in the design and development of many Sony first and third party tools and technologies for PlayStation 3. This work has already been used in titles such as Resistance: Fall of Man, NBA 07, MotorStorm and the upcoming MLB 2007. He is a published author in the book Gpu Gems 2.
Vince Diesi
Vince is a Principal Programmer in the SCE Worldwide Studios and has been working on graphics technology for over 11 years. Having lead graphics engine development on a number of SCEE first party titles, Vince now works in the Advanced Technology Group in London developing shared technology for first party teams.
