We’ve been looking very closely at the campaign’s feedback so far and while most of it has been very good, we’ve seen some bad reactions about the similarities with Pokémon.
We’re not hiding the fact that we’re heavily inspired by it, and that our plans for Temtem are basically to make the Pokémon game we’ve always wanted to play. We wanted to make that clear in our presentation video, and that’s why there are some scenes that are very similar to the ones you’re familiar with in Pokémon.
That said, we’re looking forward to changing some of the things that are maybe too close to Pokémon (the trainer intro, the evolution scene…) and giving Temtem more personality to stand on its own. We’ll be making these changes in the coming months and we’re confident that between those changes and our unique approach to world building, Temtem will be a great game that you all will enjoy.
En gros ils sont conscient des similarités avec Pokemon et ont prévu de faire des changements pour avoir leur propre identité.
Il faudra être patient pour une sortie puisque c'est celle ci est prévu pour Mai 2020, mais une Early access est prévu pour les backers en Septembre 2019.
