Battlefield Hardline tournera en 900p sur PS4 et 720p sur Xbox One afin selon les développeurs de garder un framerate de 60fps comme BF4:
Battlefield Hardline may not hit its 1080p target on PS4 and Xbox One, according to new comments reportedly made by EA.
In a statement provided to Australian site Games.on.net, EA states that Visceral is now aiming to get the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Hardline "playing at 60 FPS using the same resolution settings as [Battlefield 4]".
In our clips this amounts to a 1.95 per cent boost in single-player (25.07fps average vs the pre-patch 24.59fps) and only 1.6 per cent in co-op (24.29fps vs 23.90fps).
Selon le développeurs de Planetside 2, le CPU de la PS4 est un goulot d'étranglement mais il continue d'essayer de viser le 60fps mais compte aller vers du 30fps si le framerate fait trop de yoyo:
“Our real bottlenecks are on the CPU side. From a graphical fidelity perspective, people will be impressed with what they see on the PS4. That’s always one of those things people are skeptical about. I see every time we post an article like this I always get called out: ‘haha, it’s bullshit he’s saying it’s going to look as good.’ It really does,” said creative director of Planetside 2, Matt Higby in an interview with Eurogamer.
“Right now we’re running for 1080p. We’re still trying to shoot for 60fps. We’re trying to get a solid frame-rate. So if we go to 30 it’ll be because we want to maintain a completely solid 30fps. But that’s the optimisation we’re working on right now. And we’re still grinding on it,” he said.
