Des nouvelles du studio People can Fly dont le Vice-Président, Robert Stevenson, a émis l'hypothèse d'une suite au très bon Painkiller sur Next-Gen et sur PC :

Robert Stevenson - [...] Good question, but we are under a spell of silence on the next adventure of Daniel Garner and a full on Painkiller 2 version. You never know when that might change though - definitely keep an eye out for some announcements about upcoming action in the world of Painkiller coming down the pipe!

Autrement dit il va falloir s'attendre à une annonce très prochaine du nouveau Painkiller qui devrait donc, à priori, sortir de façon conjointe sur les supports Next-gen et PC. A noter que pour l'instant aucune info n'est disponible sur l'éventualité d'un portage sur Revolution.
