A l' occasion du Xbox Summit 2005, nombre d'éditeurs Japonais avaient répondu présents, ainsi de nouvelles annonces ont été faites avec entre autres Winning Eleven (Konami) et Ridge racer 6 (Namco).
En effet, beaucoup d'éditeurs Japonais semblent interressés par la prochaine console de Microsoft (ce qui pourrait éviter à Microsoft un échec aussi cuisant que la xbox première du nom).
