IDG will launch 30K attendee show in Los Angeles next year.

Since the E3 downsizing, the Electronic Software Association has taken extreme measures to completely make what we have known to be as the Electronic Entertainment Expo into more intimate environment. Now, The International Data Group (IDG), which produces tech magazines such as MAC world, has taken the stage to present the Game Pro Expo show to Los Angeles, CA., next year.

“IDG has been secured to run the new Game Pro Expo show, what we knew as E3,” according to a memo by ESA.

The memo also shows that the new show will be endorsed by the ESA – which is “a very important element to the partnership”. Game Pro Expo will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center on October 18, 19, and 20, 2007.
