Le premier épisode ayant rencontré un succès aussi bien dans la critique que les ventes, Tom Happ s'est dit qu'il y avait matière à retenter le coup et annonce donc un Axiom Verge 2 tournant toujours autour du principe MetroidVania avec davantage d'ambitions sur les combats et le gameplay, mais une direction artistique qui marque la différence avec le premier, au risque de diviser.
Dans tous les cas, ça sortira dans un an (fin 2020 donc), au moins sur Switch, aucun autre support n'ayant été annoncé pour le moment.

I was scrambling trying to get the specs from Nintendo so I could make sure the game resolution was compatible with the handheld screen resolution without having to blur or stretch it.
