Required Education / Skills
* Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or a closely-related field
* At least 7 years of recent hands-on experience in more than one of the following areas:
o Design/bring-up at PCB level o Power Management and battery integration
o High speed I/O (ex. HDMI, USB 2.0/3.0, LVDS*, etc.)
o Wireless Networking (Bluetooth, WiFi or other non-cellular wireless) including RF understanding
o Experience highly desirable with ASIC design, audio, batteries, clocks, EMI, Ethernet, HDMI, rigid and/or flexible printed circuit layout and fabrication processes, programmable logic devices (PLD/CPLD/FPGA), rapid prototyping, wireless communication (Bluetooth/WiFi/non-cellular wireless/IR, etc.), TCP, UARTs, USB
* Strong laboratory skills and manual dexterity for analyzing, debugging and reworking small-scale circuits Broad knowledge of current sciences and technologies related to designing, developing, and manufacturing modern interactive multimedia electronic consumer products
* Background of taking designs from specification to production in both an OEM and ODM/JDM environment
* Familiarity with software development processes; experience programming in C, C++ and assembly languages desirable; experience developing device firmware and drivers highly desirable
* Must have worked in a cross functional team (HW/FW/SW) including integration and bring-up efforts.
*Le LVDS est couramment utilisé lorsqu'il est nécessaire d'interconnecter des composants électroniques de provenance différentes avec un débit de données élevé.
Les dalles d'affichage des ordinateurs portables, type LCD, sont généralement connectées au contrôleur graphique via un agrégat de liens en LVDS .
