Because of the release of the Halo: Reach Beta, we’ve decided to make a little review of the huge Halo series. It is time, as Halo: Reach marks the conclusion of a grand series, to consider what the franchise created and developed in order to understand its future.

The Halo series is a science fiction video game franchise composed of five FPS and one strategic game. It was created by Bungie Software and it is owned and published by Mirosoft Game Studios.

There are also 6 novels, 13 comic books, a cartoon and 3 short films. In addition, a movie adaptation is announced for 2012.
