New Found Glory




New Found Glory (anciennement A New Found Glory) est un groupe américain de pop-punk formé en 1997. Ici pas d'instrument bizarre, juste une guitare, une basse et une batterie^^. Même si il est vrai que le chanteur a une voix chelou, on à l'impression qu'il a pas mué en fait.
Ils ont pour l'instant sortit 4 albums: New Found Glory en 2000, Stick and Stones en 2002, Catalyst en 2004 et Coming Home en 2006. Personellement je n'ai écouté que Catalyst et Coming Home, mais j'aime deja beaucoup. On a d'un coté Catalyst, qui donne l'impression d'un album deconnade, on retrouve un peu l'esprit de certains albums de Blink182 complétement dejanté. De l'autre coté on a Coming Home, qui trouve un ton beaucoup plus serieux en traitant principalement de la famille (divorce, décés mais aussi naissance et amitié). Pour ma part, mon préféré reste Coming Home.
Ils sortent donc leur 5éme opus intitulé From the screen to your stereo part 2. Cet album est en fait un cd de reprise de chanson de films plus ou moins recent et plus ou moins recent. On retrouve entre autres Love Fool de The Cardigans, Crazy for You de Madonna et même une chanson de Yann Tiersen du film Amélie Poulain! Ce Cd est donc plutot a mettre a part dans la discographie de NFD même si les fans se le procuront au plus vite, et ils ont bien raison tellement certaines reprises sont bonnes (je pense notamment a Kiss Me)
