A few days ago, Square Enix officially announced that a buyout offer (210 million dollars) has been sent to Tecmo. The firm decided to give an answer the fourth of this month. Unfortunately, this offer has been canceled by Tecmo today after consultation of their members in spite of an appreciation of 30%. Square Enix declared that they won't do another offer to Tecmo. Tecmo has some new ideas instead, and announced that a combination with Koei is in study.
