Myungwoon go just emailed me that he has released an AVI Player for PSP. There is no sound that I can tell, but it plays 320x240 video, though I haven't tried other resolutions. The included file is a DivX, I haven't tried an XviD yet.Myungwoon go did not specify a version number, so I will call it v0.1 until he corrects me. He has this to say:

''Currently media engine API is not available, so the player is only uses MIPS CPU fixed point. I am working making the porting more efficient and more powerful.''
