intendo hat a share of 55% of all hardware sold (units, not revenue) in 2006, compared to 50% in 2005.
Half of the top 30 best selling videogames of the year are from Nintendo (among all plattforms, i.e. I guess this also includes the computer). DS was the best selling games console in 2006 in Europe and Wii and DS had 50% of the revenue on hardware in Europe in December (that's both already known afaik).
In Germany Nintendo has a marketshare of 80% (wow), DS sold 500k in 2005 (just btw., last year they said 520k

), while it sold 1m in 2006 (so LTD is 1.5m in Germany)!
Brain Training sold 339k and Animal Crossing sold 260k.
According to Nintendo 44% of the DS owners are female, so that's the highest share of females of all games consoles.
They didn't say anything about the DS having the most hardware sales ever for a single year, but this could very well be the case. I'm not sure though, PS2 needed a bit over 5 years for 4 million units, so it could perhaps have topped the million mark in a year (most likely 2005, if it did).
80% share in the handheld market also means (if they talk about hardware only) that PSP sold 250k at most for 2006. If this also includes GBA PSP has to be well below 200k.
New Mario est 4ème juste derrière Animal Crossing. En 8 et 10ème place, il y a 2 versions de Nintendogs.
44% des utilisateurs sont du sexe féminin.
