Winning art-direction proves you don’t need technical prowess to impress. This is a gorgeous adventure through and through and the new graphical benchmark for Nintendo Wii.

Sound 9
Several awesome sound tracks mingle with ambient sound effects and top-notch voice-acting. You’ll want to play it loud.

Control 9.5
A prime example of how to utilize the Wii-mote. The button configuration is difficult to get the hang of, initially, but once you have, you’ll be in love.

Gameplay 9.5
Incredibly smart and intricate game design, overall. The puzzles are satisfying, the pacing is absolutely smooth and the world design is compellingly interesting.

Replay 9
The progression in Prime 3 will ensure you play it from beginning to end, but once you’re done, you’ll want to get 100% and unlock all the cool extras.

Verdict 9.4
If you own a Wii, you have to own Corruption. If you don’t own a Wii, this is a convincing reason you might want to think about buying one.

The Good:
Best graphics on the system to date, with a strong art style to boot
Unprecedented level of immersion
Benchmark-setting, silky-smooth IR-based aiming
Well-implemented motion controls
New gameplay elements like hyper mode add to existing formula
Tons of lore to be found for the diligent scanner

The Bad:
Lack of multiplayer is a little disappointing
Some back-tracking may grate on your nerves

The Ugly:
Every other FPS game on the system that even bothered to come out before Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.

Gamasutra posted an article stating that Metroid bested Bioshock this past week.
Bioshock was the previous number one seller, all platform sales. From there, VGChartz has their info stating that Bioshock sold over 400,000 units during its first week.
From there, N4G used those numbers to claim them as concrete for Bioshock’s first week. From there, TehGamr quotes everyone else, and takes the Gamasutra wording as stating that Metroid bested Bioshock’s first week sales.

Traduc: selon certains indices, MP3 se serait mieux vendu que Bioshock en 1ere semaine
(Bioshock qui avait fait environ 400.000).
Bien sur rien n'est encore sur a 100%, on attendra donc les 1ers chiffres d'ici quelques jours !

Corruption isn't a game made for everyone, but it is made for anyone reading this review. If we could make four or five clones of every person at Retro Studios and send them out to work on different projects of the same quality, Wii really would be catering to core gamers as much as it is to the casual market. This is a must-play adventure that finally shows what the Wii hardware and controllers can really do. More than that, it's a culmination of one of the gaming world's greatest achievements in art and design.
