On vous en parlait ce matin dans notre état des lieux sur les différentes versions de Call Of Duty : Black Ops : la version PC, qui souffre de nombreux problèmes de ralentissements voire de freezes, peut désormais être patchée via l'auto updater de Steam. Cette mise à jour concerne principalement une « amélioration des performances », notamment pour la partie multijoueur.
C'est maintenant au tour de la version Playstation 3 de bénéficier d'une amélioration notable de sa partie en ligne : le patch à venir devrait en effet améliorer le matchmaking en corrigeant la sélection des parties et de l'hôte, en plus d'un upgrade général du code réseau (vitesse, stabilité). De même, les leaderboards ne devraient plus afficher d'informations erronées concernant le nombre de frags, de morts et d'assists, et de nombreux points de gameplay ont également été modifiés.
